JUROR OF AWARDS
CAROLYN LORD, NWS, CWA
A plein air artist since college, Carolyn Lord was influenced by the 20th Century California Watercolor Style of Millard Sheets and his peers. This approach to painting often features bold color and strong design. She is inspired by the regional landscape and is best known for her garden paintings. Lord\’s mid-career work has been focused on the singularly unique architecture, landscapes and gardens of her home state California.
